HP ESXi Utilities Offline bundle for VMware ESXi 5.5 will be available as part of HP customized ESXi installer image but if it is not a HP customized ESXi image then you may need to download and install HP ESXi Utilities Offline bundle for VMware ESXi 5. Now ILO configuration of ESXi host can easily be done without need of host restart using HP ESXi utilities. It is really a tough task to get downtime for your virtuali machines just for your ILO configurations like Reset ILO configuration, Reconfigure ILO IP address and reset ILO administrative password. It possible that the link will be changed in future, since this happends a lot on the HPE website, but a quick google search on “HPQLOFCG.EXE”, will probably help you as well. Command line and scripting tools always have been a nice way to automate things or to retrieve valuable information that can’t be found in the GUI. Sometimes, you want to have more info then the GUI shows you, or you want to create or change configuration on loads of different servers, and clicking is not the fastest way.
